A Gay Couple Road Trip East Iceland to the Edge of the Arctic - Leaving the South behind, the gay couple started their way to the unknown East, before heading North along the coast. Highlights of this area are without any doubt the East Fjords with high mountains with deep and narrow valleys, the powerful waterfall Dettifoss and the stories of the hidden people around Ásbyrgi. After visiting Hrossaborg (set for the blockbuster Oblivion) the goal of this part of their gay travel was the active volcano area around lake Mývatn. Enjoy Karl and Daan's journey from East Iceland to

The year of Canada's 150th anniversary is the year of our first gay travels to the biggest North American country. Our first trip to Canada brought us to Alberta, the western Canadian province famous for the Canadian Rocky Mountains, incredibly beautiful nature, the world-famous scenic Icefields Parkway and its amazing food scene. But also for the well-known cities Edmonton, Calgary, Banff and, of course, Jasper. The goal of our 14-days Road Trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains in March was Jasper, a small mountain town famous for its annually Jasper Pride Festival with a gay pride parade on the hills of the

The famous Golden Circle Tour Iceland: Þingvellir, Geysir & Gullfoss | Part 2: The days in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik were wonderful: close to the nature with nordic architecture as a perfect starting point for our 21 days road trip around the whole island Iceland. Karl & Daan, two nature lovers going with a 4×4 Land Cruiser, a tent and all necessary equipment on a discovery trip. Huge waterfalls, a walk between the American and European tectonic plates the world famous Geysir left us simply speechless. But there is more to see during the first steps of untouched nature. The Golden

Our Gay Couple City Weekend Reykjavik Iceland - Road Trip Part 1. Traveling Iceland works best during a road trip around the island. We decided to drive our Iceland tour counter clock. But how to start a perfect Iceland trip? Our answer, we spent some relaxed days in the Nordic capital of Iceland, Reykjavik enjoying the thrill of anticipation before the back-to-basic camping road trip actually starts.

A Gay Couple Ghost Town Adventure Bodie California USA – You know, we love adventures off the beaten tracks. Therefore, we talked to all the friendly Americans we met at Yosemite National Park to find our next special place to go. The special tip came from Pete, a bearded ranger at Yosemite Lake Resorts, just outside the West Gate of Yosemite National Park. He suggested the most photogenic Ghost Town of the Wild West in California, called Bodie. The abandoned town located in the Bodie Hills east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range tells a long story about how the

Road Trip USA Highlights American South West - It was an awesome experience to travel around the country of boundless possibilities on our road trip around the southwest of the USA. Our tour started and ended in San Francisco, going counter clock around the states of California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada back to California. Starting with our drive south from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the famous Pacific Highway 1, we found abounded places along the coast around Big Sur and beautiful, long beaches in Malibu, California. Drag Queens in Hollywood, our days in Disney and Universal Studios theme

Our Gay Couple Summer Road Trip Canada – Edmonton & the North-Eastern lakes of Alberta. After visiting Calgary and the Rocky Mountains including the Icefields Parkway, and Jasper, it was time for us to see more of the beautiful West Canadian province, Alberta. Therefore, we put the Edmonton Gay Pride, on our gay travel bucket list for 2018! But Alberta’s capital city at the North Saskatchewan River was just the beginning of our two weeks gaycation in Canada. We left Edmonton behind to go east and drove from there a good portion of the Northern Woods and Water Route in

A Gay Couple exploring Central North Iceland - Welcome to the nature world of Central Iceland around Lake Mývatn, an environment full of volcanic activity, breathtaking natural spectacles and thousands of midges. Karl and Daan planned three days to explore Central Iceland. During our exploration to the Ice Cave Lofthellir underneath a volcano and our relaxed time at Lake Mývatn Nature Baths (so-called Blue Lagoon of the North), we got to know even more about the volcanic activities during a one-day bus trip to the volcano Askja with the small caldera lake Víti. Using Lake Mývatnas base, we went on

Awesome News: We are thrilled to announce, that we will go to Canada again next winter! This time we as Gay Couple Travel Bloggers will attend the 26th edition of LGBTQ+ Whistler Pride & Ski Festival 2018 in British Columbia, which is considered to be one of the biggest and best Gay Ski Weeks worldwide. Last year we already had a great time exploring the East side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Alberta driving along the Icefield’s Parkway starting from Calgary all the way up to Jasper joining the Gay Ski Week Jasper Pride. But now it is time

Sleeping in a Slumber Wine Barrel Taufsteinhütte Central Germany - We have to admit, it was a very special experience to sleep in a wine barrel in the middle of a winter wonderland in the German state Hessen. During our Winter Road Trip from Frankfurt am Main to Nature Park Hoher Vogelsberg we spent a night in the gay-friendly hotel "Slumber Wine Barrel" village at Taufsteinhhütte in the middle of the forest. The view over the Hoherodskopf with its huge with its huge radio tower covered in ice and snow was stunning. Inside the wine barrel, we felt like two
