Our Gay Couple Canada Gay Travel Guide: How to Gay Travel Canada the easy, gay-friendly and most adventurous way? We have the answers. During our gay travels worldwide we were able to visit the North American country of Canada, that is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2017. We started our Canadian adventures with the province of Alberta in the Western part of Canada. Flying in from Amsterdam via Toronto to Calgary, we spent a lovely time in the city of skyscrapers, beautiful parks and a growing food and brewery culture. It took a few days to get used to the time difference of 8 hours. But then, it was time to rent a car and explore the Rocky Mountains on a road trip and the province of Alberta. This winter, we visited Vancouver for the annual Dine Out Festival Vancouver. After some delicious dinner evening, we drove all the way up to Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort to attend the 26th edition of Whistler Pride and Ski Festival 2018!
And don’t forget the Gay Prides in Calgary, Edmonton, Whistler, and the famous Jasper Pride with a growing popularity not only in Canada but worldwide. But Canada is more starting with the First Nations 12.000 years ago to the 10 provinces, 3 territories, and the capital Ottawa today. Especially the gay-friendly mindset and open-minded lifestyle of the Canadians should be trend-setting for the rest of the world. Montreal in Quebec, Toronto and the Niagara Falls in Ontario, more of Vancouver in British Columbia, Edmonton and Alberta, Newfoundland & Labrador at the East Coast: Our bucket list for us a Gay Couple Traveling Canada is still filled with great destinations within Canada. You will see us very soon again in Canada, promised!
Canada Gay Travel Guide: Canada is world famous for it’s down to earth, authentic and colorful Gay Pride Parades all over the country. For sure you can remember the photos taken in the past year of the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau marching with a rainbow flag all the way in front of the gay pride parade in Toronto. Not only are the Canadian very much aware of their mostly European heritage, but they are also one of the friendliest, politest and most helpful people in the world. We made great friends during our time as a Gay Couple Traveling Canada and we are happy to welcome them from time to time in our home city Amsterdam, not only during the Amsterdam Gay Pride Parade on the canals.
