AUSTRIA: This year’s visit was somewhat special to us. We were able to rediscover our love for the city of Salzburg, meet old friends from our first trip and get to know a few completely new sides of the Austrian Sound of Music City. For example, did you know that there is a Red Bull aircraft museum in Salzburg? That a CSD Salzburg Pride has been organized every year since 2010? Or that somewhere in Hellbrunn Castle you can marvel at a ‘real’ unicorn? Join us on our second, exciting journey to Salzburg for Couple of Men and we are

Diana Sokołowska-Kostyk met her future wife in Gdansk, Poland and they decided to get married in the UK. With conservative parties growing stronger and stronger in their home country, Diana and her wife Roksana decided to leave Poland behind and relocated to the Netherlands to start a new life. GERMANY: Adventurous and curious as we are, we started our journey with a guided city tour exploring the heart of the gorgeous city center of Munich while learning more about the interesting queer stories of the Bavarian capital, starting with Freddie Mercury, the Deutsche Eiche, and the gayborhood Glockenbackviertel. You can believe us, Munich has some seriously charming places to explore! So, we were set off to a fresh and sporty bike ride away from Munich’s city center to the impressive Nymphenburg Palace, one of the biggest royal palaces in Europe. Our next stop, the Olympic Park from 1972, was

GERMANY: Back to the roots! It always feels like a journey back in time when we are visiting Karl’s family in Eastern Germany. Not only because of the baroque beauty of Dresden’s architectural monuments including the Zwinger, the Castle of Dresden, or the uncountable art treasures in the museums of the Eastern German City. But also because it was Karl’s home town where he came out of the closet, got in touch with the local LGBTQ+ community, and started to play Volleyball in the European Gay League.

The 4-star hotel was our gay-friendly accommodation for the 4-days trip to Munich this summer with enough space to play games, to dance to DJ sets, and to work in an LGBTQ+ welcoming environment. Enjoy our photos, the story about Munich, and our hotel review! We are convinced that we can inspire you to book a stay at the gay-friendly design hotel Aloft Munich, especially for CSD Munich Pride with our Couple of Men gay couple hotel review.

The famous Golden Circle Tour Iceland: Þingvellir, Geysir & Gullfoss | Part 2: The days in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik were wonderful: close to the nature with nordic architecture as a perfect starting point for our 21 days road trip around the whole island Iceland. Karl & Daan, two nature lovers going with a 4×4 Land Cruiser, a tent and all necessary equipment on a discovery trip. Huge waterfalls, a walk between the American and European tectonic plates the world famous Geysir left us simply speechless. But there is more to see during the first steps of untouched nature. The Golden

You might remember our first trip last summer where we attended Malmö Pride and toured around the Southern part of Sweden, Scania. This year, we are going back to see even more of Malmö especially the preparations for World Pride 2021 together with Copenhagen. Well, out of this idea developed a plan to see more of central Europe. The idea for a staycation 2020 was born. After our road trip to Sweden, we will make our way over the Baltic Sea to Germany by ferry in order to start our one-month road “Best of LGBTQ+ Germany”. Join us on our

We are excited that StockholmLGBT invited us back to Gay Stockholm in the near future and shared with us some exciting gay travel news about Stockholm. For us, Stockholm really is one of the best LGBTQ+ and gay vacation destinations not only in Europe but worldwide. Even though we won’t go back to Stockholm this summer, but instead, will be exploring the World Pride co-hosting city of Malmö, we wanna share Stockholm Gay Travel News in our “Ode to Joy, to Stockholm”. Definitely some great reasons to go back to Sweden!

Who would have known that we would go on a gay cruise this summer? But when we got the opportunity to jump on a private boutique ship cruising around some of the most beautiful Croatian islands, we simply couldn’t resist. We always wondered how it would be to go on a private, much more intimate gay cruise adventure instead of a big cruise ship trip with thousands of gay men on it, which was fun on a totally different level.
