This time we as Gay Couple Travel Bloggers will attend the 26th edition of LGBTQ+ Whistler Pride & Ski Festival 2018 in British Columbia, which is considered to be one of the biggest and best Gay Ski Weeks worldwide. Last year we already had a great time exploring the East side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Alberta driving along the Icefield’s Parkway starting from Calgary all the way up to Jasper joining the Gay Ski Week Jasper Pride. But now it is time to go West! In January 2018, we will fly with Delta Airlines to visit Vancouver, B.C. showing you around Tourism Vancouver’s 17-days Dine Out™ Vancouver Festival, Canada’s largest annual food and drink festival with over 200 participating restaurants and more than 30 events. Amsterdam Light Festival Highlights 2015-2014 – Wintertime in Western Europe is quite a difficult time: almost no snow combined with a lot of wind and rain. Additional to shorter days and the lack of light the Dutch capital Amsterdam initiated 4 years ago the annually Amsterdam Light Festival. Artist working on alight project were given the opportunity to dive Amsterdam into light. Do it like the gay couple is doing it and discover the beauty of the city in the dark! THE CRUISE: The weather could not have been better when the first high heels entered the dancefloor. Blue sky and warm summer sun were promising making the Lady Party a total success, again!
CRUISE: Right after being back from ashore, we slipped into our golden wrestling outfits, put on our disco wigs and golden sunglasses to join the party crowd on the pool deck to “Boogie Oogie Oogie” into the night.
Where are you from Party The Cruise 2017: As a permanent costume party feature, The Cruise by La Demence organizes the getting-to-know event as one of the first parties of the annual cruise week. There are more than two thousand gay men on board the cruise ship Monarch but we actually have no idea where every single man actually comes from! And there were lot men to take into account! In total 86 different nationalities from all over the world gathered together for one big colorful, peaceful gaycation celebration on board the gay cruise ship!
ICELAND: Lucky us, we had a little extra time during our 21-day Road Trip around Iceland to try a second whale watching tour, this time in Dalvík in North Iceland.
Our Photos Videos (Gay) Pride Week Amsterdam 2017 – The team of this year’s Gay Pride Week of the Dutch capital had a difficult task to solve. Why? Well, since 2016 was the year of the Euro Pride in Amsterdam with a whole month full of activities, events, and more than 560.000 guests from all over the world, the expectations to organize an impressive LGBTQ+ Pride Event were set high. You wanna know how we rate the (Gay) Pride Amsterdam 2017 in our home city? We loved it. And we are talking not only about the world famous Amsterdam Canal Parade.
Gay Couple Biking Tour Fort Island Pampus – Amsterdam during summer time is the best time of the year to explore the city but also the beautiful natural surroundings. But how are the Dutch people doing it? Of course, by bike! This weekend we decided to bike back in the past to learn more about Dutch history and the defense systems around Amsterdam, which have been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site. We started our tour in Amsterdam center.
FINLAND: Kept as a secret, the citizens of Helsinki are more than proud to live in their wonderful nature connected city.
ICELAND: Asking travel guides, books, blogs, and official websites was not really satisfactory concerning the length of our trip, choice of our rental car, the planning of our gay-friendly accommodations and assembling our camping equipment.
ICELAND: Looking back on the fantastic things we experienced during our 21-day camping road trip, it was just the perfect adventure trip in Northern Europe.
Our Gay Couple Biking Trips Amsterdam Forest brings us this time to the green lounge of the Dutch capital, to the Amsterdamse Bos or the Forest of Amsterdam. Located in the South-West of the city of Amsterdam, the man-made nature preserve is home to hundreds of different bigger and smaller animals, beautiful gardens, waterways and of course, wood. All year around the Forest of Amsterdam offers its visitors space to breath fresh air and relax from busy everyday life in a peaceful green environment just 30 minutes by bike from the city center of Amsterdam.

A Gay Couple City Weekend Nijmegen – It is time for Nijmegen, the oldest Dutch city is the fifth destination of our Dutch Gay City Tour in a warming late winter sun. We spent a long weekend in the history-charged charming city in Gelderland close to the German border. While wandering and biking around the unique mixture of a traditional Dutch city with a modern touch in architecture, art, hip and cozy places and along the Waal river, we felt home for some days in our gay-friendly hotel Sleep in Box5. A Gay Couple City Weekend Groningen – Karl & Daan’s Dutch City Tour brought the gay couple to the “capital of the North”, especially for a visit at the Groninger Museum. Groningen with its compact and walkable old town surrounded by Grachten is very well known for its famous Groninger Museum. Currently with the V&A exhibition “David Bowie is”, the popular student life and a creative art scene. SWEDEN: Springtime is Eurovision time. After Måns Zelmerlöw won the ESC 2015 in Vienna, it was again time for Sweden after Malmö 2013 to host the biggest multicultural music festival in Europe.

A perfect day trip or an ideal weekend off in East German Spree Forest in Brandenburg. The German capital is located in the eastern part of the Country surrounded by the state Brandenburg and a almost never ending nature region. Rivers, lakes and forest – especially in Winter this part of Germany is very calm, almost isolated and simply a wonderful place o relax and slow down. We collected some peaceful Winter impressions of the world famous Spree Forest nature world just a one-hour drive South direction from Berlin or in North direction from Dresden.
