It will look like Gay Euro Pride Amsterdam 2016 – or even better at First Utrecht Canal Gay Pride 2017

The First Utrecht Canal Gay Pride 2017

The Utrecht Canal Pride will start at 1 pm (13:00 hours) from the Ledig Erf. From there, the parade will continue its way passing by The Dom Church (St. Martin’s Cathedral, Utrecht) through the lively and beautiful city center of Utrecht toward De Weerdsluis. During the peak of the parade, all 27 boats will be located at the famous Oudegracht. There, the major of Utrecht will welcome the Canal Parade with a confetti shower. Passing the last bend, the Utrecht Canal Parade boats will reach their final destination around the Monicabrug.

If you are wondering, where you should go or where you can see canal boats best, have a look at the map. The green areas are free to visit for everyone, but those areas are most likely the busiest, of course. The red areas are closed because of construction work and security reasons. A tip from the organizers: avoid the shopping area, because of the shopping tourists.
