Our Photo Story Castro Street Fair San Francisco. The city of the Golden Gate Bridge was a truly inspiring place on the Pacific West Coast. During our first gay travels to the South West Part of the USA, we spent almost a week in the beginning of October in San Francisco, one of our favorite cities of the United States of America. It was a perfect pick of date since it was the right weekend to attend the 43rd edition of the Castro Street Fair in San Francisco. Rainbow flags all over the neighborhood, colorful street decorations around Castro Theater,

The story of Chris and Gus brings us back to the US, this time to the east coast, to Florida to be more precise. But this isn’t actually the beginning of their story together. Coming from the formerly isolated country of Cuba, the gay couple knows what it means when “traveling makes you free”. Similar to Karl’s home country, former East Germany, going to wherever you want to was a privilege, that not all citizens of the GDR nor Cuba were able to enjoy. But times have changed and Chris and Gus moved together away from the Caribbean island nation

Support LGBT couple operated travel businesses around the world! You might remember our last year’s trip during Pride Month around the United States of America? Among others, we visited the small town Galena in the US-American state Illinois, known to be the second most visited town in Illinois and home to one of the best Main Streets in America. It is also known for its LGBT and gay-friendliness making it to one of the weekend hideaways for the LGBT community. Galena is also the adopted home for gay couple Alex and Geoff Arroyo-Karnish.

The best of Portland Pride 2019 with photos and videos of the LGBTQ+ Rainbow Celebration in Portland, Oregon. Bearded men, a hipster community, great coffee, and local beer breweries – Portland in Oregon was already for many years on our gay travel bucket list for the USA. In 2019, we were finally able to visit the green US-American state on the Pacific coast finding exactly what we were looking for.

New York doesn’t end with New York City’s borders. During our trip to the Big Apple prior World Pride 2019, we traveled north to the heart of New York State, the Mid-Hudson Valley region. Although we have been overwhelmed with a welcoming environment, a calmness and gay-friendliness, we have asked ourselves, how can we introduce to you the heart of New York State the best? Because, you know, New York is New York, right? Well, not quite…

Our Top 5 Gay Events this year – 2019 is going to be a great year for celebrating Pride worldwide! We chose five great LGBTQ+ events that caught our attention and which we think are worth traveling to this year. Are you ready for the biggest World Pride celebration ever in 2019 in New York City? Would you rather scream and sing along with 42 new songs that will compete for the European Song Contest crown in Tel Aviv? Or did you always dream about the magical moment holding hands in front of Mickey Mouse wearing some rainbow colored ears?

Great news passengers who do not identify as male or female, and thus as non-binary or genderqueer! Several major US American airlines, including Delta (partner of KLM), JetBlue, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and American Airlines, as well as Southwest, offer a gender-neutral choice during the future booking process of an airline ticket. In addition to the men and women options, there are said to be two other categories. The action was confirmed by the trade association Airlines For America and is scheduled to be a requirement from Juni 1st 2019 on. More about the great news here on Couple of

The year of Canada's 150th anniversary is the year of our first gay travels to the biggest North American country. Our first trip to Canada brought us to Alberta, the western Canadian province famous for the Canadian Rocky Mountains, incredibly beautiful nature, the world-famous scenic Icefields Parkway and its amazing food scene. But also for the well-known cities Edmonton, Calgary, Banff and, of course, Jasper. The goal of our 14-days Road Trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains in March was Jasper, a small mountain town famous for its annually Jasper Pride Festival with a gay pride parade on the hills of the

A Gay Couple Ghost Town Adventure Bodie California USA – You know, we love adventures off the beaten tracks. Therefore, we talked to all the friendly Americans we met at Yosemite National Park to find our next special place to go. The special tip came from Pete, a bearded ranger at Yosemite Lake Resorts, just outside the West Gate of Yosemite National Park. He suggested the most photogenic Ghost Town of the Wild West in California, called Bodie. The abandoned town located in the Bodie Hills east of the Sierra Nevada mountain range tells a long story about how the

Road Trip USA Highlights American South West - It was an awesome experience to travel around the country of boundless possibilities on our road trip around the southwest of the USA. Our tour started and ended in San Francisco, going counter clock around the states of California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada back to California. Starting with our drive south from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the famous Pacific Highway 1, we found abounded places along the coast around Big Sur and beautiful, long beaches in Malibu, California. Drag Queens in Hollywood, our days in Disney and Universal Studios theme
