USA: During our first gay travels to the South West Part of the USA, we spent almost a week at the beginning of October in San Francisco, one of our favorite cities of the United States of America.

USA: The festival has been serving the LGBTQ+ community for over 45 years. Its mission: bringing awareness and unite the LGBTQ+ community. Now with Pride of the Americas.

AMSTERDAM: Since 2019, we’ve been traveling around the world with our partner airline KLM. Now it’s time for us to take a closer look at how gay-friendly KLM Royal Dutch Airlines actually is!

USA: Our road trip from Portland to Crater Lake, stunning Waterfalls at Umpqua River Valley & the beauty of the Pacific Coast.

USA: As nature lovers, it was our quest for this USA trip to seek and experience Portland’s most beautiful natural highlights..

USA: Located on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers, we didn’t have to leave Portland to experience the Pacific Northwest region.

USA: Arriving in Rhinebeck, it was all about indulgence, from the traditional and luxury accommodations we were staying in, the spa day we enjoyed in between, and quite a few delicious culinary moments in the region around Rhinebeck.

USA: New York doesn’t end with New York City’s borders. We traveled north to the heart of New York State, the Mid-Hudson Valley region, to Dutchess County.

USA: The story of Chris and Gus. Coming from the formerly isolated country of Cuba, the gay couple knows what it means when “traveling makes you free”.

USA: We visited the small town of Galena in the US-American state of Illinois. It is known for its LGBT and gay-friendliness, making it one of the weekend hideaways for the LGBT community.

USA: The Yosemite National Park in California was one of our top highlights we planned for our four weeks road trip around the South West of the United States of America.

USA: Bearded men, a hipster community, great coffee, and local beer breweries – Portland in Oregon was already for many years on our gay travel bucket list. Also, because of Portland Pride!

Our Top 5 Gay Events this year – 2019 is going to be a great year for celebrating Pride worldwide! We chose five great LGBTQ+ events that caught our attention and which we think are worth traveling to this year. Are you ready for the biggest World Pride celebration ever in 2019 in New York City? Would you rather scream and sing along with 42 new songs that will compete for the European Song Contest crown in Tel Aviv? Or did you always dream about the magical moment holding hands in front of Mickey Mouse wearing some rainbow colored ears? Join us on our gay travels around the world supporting the lesbian, gay and queers and see the gay-friendly and colored side through a couple of men‘s eyes.

Great news passengers who do not identify as male or female, and thus as non-binary or genderqueer! Several major US American airlines, including Delta (partner of KLM), JetBlue, United Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and American Airlines, as well as Southwest, offer a gender-neutral choice during the future booking process of an airline ticket. In addition to the men and women options, there are said to be two other categories. The action was confirmed by the trade association Airlines For America and is scheduled to be a requirement from Juni 1st 2019 on. More about the great news here on Couple of Men.

The year of Canada’s 150th anniversary is the year of our first gay travels to the biggest North American country. Our first trip to Canada brought us to Alberta, the western Canadian province famous for the Canadian Rocky Mountains, incredibly beautiful nature, the world-famous scenic Icefields Parkway and its amazing food scene. But also for the well-known cities Edmonton, Calgary, Banff and, of course, Jasper. The goal of our 14-days Road Trip to the Canadian Rocky Mountains in March was Jasper, a small mountain town famous for its annually Jasper Pride Festival with a gay pride parade on the hills of the ski resort Marmot Basin.

USA: Pete, a bearded ranger at Yosemite Lake Resorts, just outside the West Gate of Yosemite National Park, suggested the most photogenic Ghost Town of the Wild West in California.

Review of our gay-friendly stay at the Marriott Downtown Toronto Eaton Centre. Modern style, a gay-friendly staff, and a perfect location: During our gay couple city trip in the largest Canadian city Toronto, we stayed right in the heart between Downtown Toronto and Church-Wellesley Village, the popular so-called Gay Village. The Marriott hotel offers good service for gay and LGBT travelers including spacious and comfortable rooms, a rooftop pool as well as a whirlpool, a very nice 24-hour fitness studio with a Toronto city view, a rich breakfast buffet and free luggage service. We found all we needed for a gay-friendly stay in Toronto at Lake Ontario before we headed to our next Canada adventure, Niagara Falls. But now enjoy our hotel review of the modern 4-star hotel Marriott Downtown Toronto Eaton Centre and see this centrally located city trip hotel through a couple of men‘s eyes.

Our gay couple travel diary of Whistler Pride 2018 Gay Ski Week in the province of British Columbia, Canada. Our second Gay Ski Week brought us again to the Western part of Canada, to British Columbia’s Whistler, to be precise. Together with hundreds of gay men, lesbian women, and all members of the LGBTQ+ community, we spent a week on the slopes of the Canadian Ski Resort Whistler Blackcomb enjoying incredibly much Canadian powder snow. Besides the usual winter sports like skiing and snowboarding through the British Columbian dense forest, Gay Whistler offers several different winter sports like zip-lining and snowmobiling organized by The Adventure Group Whistler.

Next to all the sporting there were of course a lot of LGBTQ+ events like the night of comedy with Margaret Cho, the LGBTQ+ Social Media Workshop, a special dinner evening at Bearfoot restaurant and the famous Furocious, Splash Pool Party, the Sip N’ Dip at the Scandinave Spa and the great closing event Snowball.

USA: It was not easy to find the right accommodation around Los Angeles and Hollywood, but we managed to spot this beautiful apartment in a quiet area in between both cities.

Zip Lining Snowmobiling TAG Whistler Gay-friendly – We went on our pure adrenalin adventure Zip-Lining and Snowmobiling together with the two tour guides Marty and Thomas on Rainbow Mountain. After a hot chocolate break, we jumped on a ski-doo to experience a twilight snowmobiling tour…

CANADA: The West-Canadian metropolis is known for its multicultural lifestyle and, of course, for its culinary scene with fresh seafood, traditional Canadian dishes and the fine art of the modern cuisine.

This time we as Gay Couple Travel Bloggers will attend the 26th edition of LGBTQ+ Whistler Pride & Ski Festival 2018 in British Columbia, which is considered to be one of the biggest and best Gay Ski Weeks worldwide. Last year we already had a great time exploring the East side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains in Alberta driving along the Icefield’s Parkway starting from Calgary all the way up to Jasper joining the Gay Ski Week Jasper Pride. But now it is time to go West! In January 2018, we will fly with Delta Airlines to visit Vancouver, B.C. showing you around Tourism Vancouver’s 17-days Dine Out™ Vancouver Festival, Canada’s largest annual food and drink festival with over 200 participating restaurants and more than 30 events. After three days in Vancouver, we will take the shuttle to Blackcomb Glacier Provincial Park and the ski resort Whistler Blackcomb with is famous Peak 2 Peak Gondola connecting Whistler Mountain (2.182 m) and Blackcomb Peak (2.440 m). CANADA: Right before we hit the road from Lake Louise all the way north to Jasper, we left the Canadian province of Alberta for a 2-days short stay at Emerald Lake at Yoho National Park, British Columbia.

USA: On our road trip along the Pacific Highway number one from San Francisco to Los Angeles, we made a one night stop at Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort Spa in Avila Beach.

CANADA: Exploring the Canadian Rocky Mountains around Banff and Lake Louise: Visit and stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, the “Castle in the Rockies” at Banff National Park.
