WORLDWIDE: Also this year, the visit to Gay Pride Parades and CSD Events all over the world was at the top of our Gay Travel Bucket List.

COLOMBIA: Known for its Caribbean flair, we had a blast exploring Cartagena’s old town’s colorful and colonial city center, the surrounding nature. In addition, we enjoyed some relaxing, luxurious days at the beach.

During Karl and Daan’s Gay City Weekend Rotterdam the gay couple traveled around the beautiful mix of architecture, water and nature atmosphere of the Major Port city of Europe. From the 5-Star Mainport Hotel Rotterdam the tour went over water with several boat trips, extraordinary good food, an inspirational visit to the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, an Escape Room and a lively gay nightlife. Nights to remember at Nakagin Capsule Tower Tokyo Japan. Our first trip to Japan started impressive, different and somehow adventurous. We didn’t choose a hotel for our first nights in Tokyo. Instead, we used a unique and rare Airbnb offer to stay in an architectural icon, the world famous Nakagin Capsule Tower. Designed by the architect Kisho Kurokawa, the capsule tower as a compilation of living 140 living cubes is a remarkable building of the Japanese Metabolism finished in 1972. The building is located right in the center of one of the financial districts of the Japanese capital Tokyo, Shimbashi. But the world keeps on running while this architectural landmark is threatened by the danger of deterioration. Since most of the capsules are abandoned, leaking rain water, rust, and cold no one can estimate for sure how long this remarkable construction in Tokyo, Japan will be open for a visit. Nevertheless, our stay was very interesting and special to us. It is especially for fans of unique architecture a most do on their Japan bucket list. SOUTH AFRICA: To experience as much as possible from Cape Town, we spent our first days in the heart of the Mother City staying in a gay-friendly hotel in Green Point.

SWEDEN: We got super excited about the offer to join forces with the National Tourism Board of Skåne, also known as Scania, to show you the gay-friendly side of Southern Sweden.

SWEDEN: Embedded in the rough nature of the Kattegat shoreline, we found the gay-friendly and gay couple owned café Ransvik Havsveranda with a special historical significance.
