A journal of our 4-day Gay City Trip to Malmö during Pride Weekend. Did we already mention, that we love Sweden? The Scandinavian country is one of our favorite European gay travel destinations that is currently ranking on the top position of this year’s Gay Travel Index 2019 together with Canada. But besides this encouraging data, we experienced an ongoing welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly environment be it in the bigger cities of Stockholm or Malmö or in the countryside of the South Swedish county Skåne.

Our best photos and video of the Malmö Pride in 2019. Lucky us, we were able to attend the 25th years anniversary of (Gay) Pride in Malmö during our summer adventure to South Sweden. Since 1995, the formerly known as the Rainbow Festival Malmö celebrates equality, love, and respect for everyone. According to malmo.com, the LGBTQ+ festival expected more than 15.000 participants getting ready for World Pride 2021.

Yasss! We as Gay Travel Blogger will attend the 13th edition of the Pink Lake Festival in Southern Austria this August in 2020. Just two weeks and less to go before we will depart to Klagenfurt in the South of the Austrian state Carinthia. We cannot wait to be in the mountains again, something we really miss in Amsterdam! The small town Pörtschach am Wörthersee will turn pink to offer an LGBTQ+ friendly Get-together to celebrate diversity, love, and equality right on the world-famous Lake Wört (Wörthersee) nestled in the Alps of Austria. Together with the European gay-community, we will

The hidden gem for the sophisticated lesbian, gay and queer travelers in Illinois. A hidden gem in the United States of America? Yes, there is! Even some of our friends living in the USA contacted us after we published our first photos and stories about our trip to Galena asking: Where is Galena and why are you traveling there? Well, the US American state of Illinois isn’t only about Route 66, Springfield or Chicago, it also is home to Galena which is the largest city of Jo Daviess County, Illinois with a strong connection to the Mississippi River and only

Gay Chicago – City Guide to Pride and the Gay Neighborhoods. We have finally visited the world-famous city of wind in the American Mid West, Chicago. Especially for Karl a dream came true when we were standing at the shore of the Chicago River surrounded by incredibly impressive skyscrapers and another top of the top architectural highlights of the third biggest city of the USA. Suitably during pride month, we as gay couple travel bloggers were invited to attend Gay Pride in Chicago, the Pride Park Festival and explore the gay neighborhoods of the city, Boystown and Andersonville.

Our 6 Lederhosen Tips Traditional Austrian Garments – Wearing a traditional folk costume is an important part of daily life defining an own identity in the mountains of the Alps. In the German-speaking South Austrian state Carinthia alone more than 80 different kinds of traditional garments are officially registered, one more beautiful than the other, for women and men, of course. Unsurprisingly, we as gay couple travel blogger wanted to know more about the tradition of wearing real Austrian Lederhosen as they are a traditional national clothing coming originally from the farmers. And of course, we still needed the perfect
