Gay-friendly Fairmont Hotels: During our last year’s extensive Canada adventures, we were able to experience and enjoy the luxury hotels of Fairmont. The Canadian luxury hotel and resort brand always welcomed us with heart-friendly stuff, high-quality interior and total acceptance of us as two openly-gay travelers. From the check-in to special request and support in exploring the surrounding: We felt home and well taken care of, gay couple or not. The first time we got in contact with Fairmont was during our stay in the Calgary Palliser Hotel as one of the historical buildings and accommodation in Calgary. The hotel highlight of our road trip through the Canadian Rocky Mountains was our stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs or the so-called Castle in the Rockies. Much smaller but definitely not less cozy was the time at the Jasper Park Lodge attending Jasper Pride Festival. Just recently, we went back to Vancouver and Whistler for Whistler Pride staying at the Fairmont Waterfront Vancouver.
