Gay-friendly Carlton Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv | Israel
Our experience at Carlton Beach Hotel Tel Aviv Israel gay-friendly – While attending the Gay Pride Parade 2016 last summer together with thousands of handsome gay men from all over the world, we were accommodated at the Carlton Beach Hotel right on the beach side Tel Aviv Marina in Israel. With its well maintained and equipped hotel rooms, it’s amazing breakfast place, and a generous rooftop pool with bar, the Carlton has everything we needed for a relaxed holiday in the Gay Metropole at the Mediterranean Sea.
The best things about the Carlton Hotel as accommodation for the Gay Pride Week Tel Aviv in short: definitely the breakfast (read more detailed below), the short distance to the starting point of the pride parade and the short distance to Gay Beach of Tel Aviv. And don’t forget to take a refreshing bath with a stunning view over the sea from the rooftop terrace of the gay-friendly hotel. Enjoy our review of the Carlton Beach Hotel with stories, tips and photos of the complex, the pool, and the view over the beach and see Tel Aviv through a gay couple of men’s eyes.
Double Bed Room at Carlton Beach Hotel
We stayed in a double-bed room with a separate spacious bathroom with bath, a huge closet, and a small balcony. The room was equipped with a very comfortable Kingsize bed, a big desk, a private safe and a very good wifi network. The air conditioning worked very well but a short break in the heat looking over the bay from the balcony having a drink and watching not only gay men passing by to go the well-known gay beach of Tel Aviv was worth the sweat once in a while. The reception was staffed 24 hours a day for calling a cap or any other things you need to organize. While waiting for the taxi to arrive, take a drink at the stylish hotel lobby bar or go all the way up to the rooftop to take a drink with a night view over the Israeli Metropole Tel Aviv.
Breakfast with a view at Carlton Hotel
The Carlton Beach Hotel Tel Aviv offers a very rich breakfast buffet with local, vegetarian, and international specialties and a great view over the sea. Just cross the beach-boulevard and enter the small breakfast building with a terrace and a small garden. Different kinds of bread, fish, salads, soups and fresh juices: there was so much to try, having even four times breakfast at Carlton wasn’t enough to taste all the delicious meals. Take a seat near the water in the sun and just enjoy your first coffee of your holiday day in Tel Aviv. And don’t forget to order a fresh made omelet. Delicious! 😉
Rooftop Pool of the Carlton Beach Hotel
We have said it earlier already, but the view from the rooftop pool was simply stunning. We were able to see all the way to Old Jaffa in a southern direction and the gay beach to the north. Take the elevator all the way up to the rooftop restaurant and bar, and take the last stairs up to the pool. The pool staff will provide you with fresh towels and cooling drinks. And then, just enjoy the fresh water, the sun, and the view. Definitely a real holiday feeling for our gay travels to Tel Aviv.

Good to know:
Don’t forget to book your hotel room with a balcony towards the seaside. The view is definitely worth it. If you are planning to visit Tel Aviv for the gay pride 2017, the luxury Carlton Hotel is a good choice close to Tel Aviv Marina and the gay beach in front of the Hilton Hotel. And now, you don’t have to bring your own towels to the rooftop pool.
