The best of LA Pride in West Hollywood 2019. It was finally time for our first Gay Pride Festival in summer 2019. After our winter premiere in January at Whistler Pride in Canada, we’ve successfully attended Los Angeles Pride and its colorful queer parade through West Hollywood along Santa Monica Boulevard. And we have to admit, LA Pride in the South Western part of the USA was one of our best gay pride festivals ever! After attending Harvey Milk’s Castro Street Fair in San Francisco, we were overwhelmed by so much diversity, the amazing summer weather with blue sky and temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius as well as uncountable happy faces of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies marching peacefully side by side.
USA: It was an awesome experience to travel around California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada, states of the country of boundless possibilities on our road trip around the southwest of the USA. Our tour started and ended in San Francisco, going counter clock around the states of California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada back to California.
Starting with our drive south from San Francisco to Los Angeles on the famous Pacific Highway 1, we found abounded places along the coast around Big Sur and beautiful, long beaches in Malibu, California. Drag Queens in Hollywood, our days in Disney and Universal Studios theme parks and great hikes with stunning sunsets at Zion and Yosemite National Park are only some of our Top 13 Highlights during our Road Trip around the Southwest of the United States of America. Join us on our Gay Couple Road Trip and see the four states California, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada through a couple of men’s eyes.
The Willow Los Angeles Hollywood California gay-friendly – It was not easy to find the right accommodation around Los Angeles and Hollywood, but we managed to find this beautiful apartment in a quiet area in between both cities in California, USA. The view out of apartment number 5 was simply beautiful for the morning coffee and the nights have been calm on a comfortable mattress under starlight. Just a 15 minutes ride with the car to the well-known gay area of West Hollywood made the choice of the dinner location with drinks really easy. Within just 20 minutes (depending on traffic of course) by car, we left the highway for Downtown Los Angeles. In a word, we couldn’t have stayed in a better, gay-friendly place for four nights during our 1-month Road Trip South West USA. Enjoy our review and see The Willow Los Angeles Hollywood California through a couple of men’s eyes.
