During Cologne Pride this year, we visited Phoenix Sauna Cologne and loved how it brought together locals and international Pride visitors. Whether you’re looking for steamy fun or a relaxing spa day, the saunas here provide a bit of everything. Plus, they’re easily accessible by public transport and often located close to vibrant gay neighborhoods.
#7 Badehaus Babylon Sauna Cologne
This was our post-parade chill spot after Cologne Pride, and it was the perfect choice to recharge, flirt, and unwind. Spacious, stylish, and clean, Babylon Sauna is a long-established gay sauna located in the heart of Cologne, just a 10-minute walk from Rudolfplatz. This German gay sauna offers excellent wellness facilities alongside more cruisy zones, including a whirlpool. The outdoor area was a highlight during summer with a big outdoor pool, sunbeds, and great vibes all around. We spent an entire day here the day after the Pride demonstration together with our friend Sion, and we truly enjoyed recharging our batteries while encountering some fun people there along the way.
